25 YEARS OF METALHEADZ - THE SERIES

I've been a fan of Metalheadz since the start (94) and I really wanted to bring a futuristic element to the iconic head/skull logo Goldie created without loosing it's current dimensions & integrity. So I set about creating a Starship illustration, only using the angles and overall shape of the original. After receiving the approval from Goldie, we rolled out the design across the 25 Years of Metalheadz Series, which formed nine 12" releases and digital formats by artists such as Doc Scott, Rufige Kru, John B, Mark System, Goldie, SB81, Total Science and many more. A social suite was also created to accompany the series.
